Which new iPhone I chose?

I’m one of the Apple Sheep that’s gets a new iPhone every year regardless, just to say I have the latest one. Leading up to Apple’s Wonderlust event this week, I’d seen the rumours suggesting a light grey colour option with renders to match.

Had Apple announced that colour this year’s decision would have been made. I liked the look of the renders and kept my fingers crossed. As it turned out the renders were wrong. Close but wrong. At first I thought the natural titanium was too gold. The more I see the marketing images the more the colour has grown on me. When placing my pre-preorder, natural titanium it is. The only time I’ve opted for the Max variant before was the 13 Pro Max. I returned that device because although I liked the bigger screen, the weight made it a bad experience. Replacing stainless steel with titanium means weight won’t be an issue. Although the bezel isn’t as thin as I was hoping, it has been reduced enough to notice it, the result being a very slightly smaller footprint of the iPhone. Everything crossed I’m quick enough to get mine for launch day.
